Frequently
Asked Questions
Q: I submitted my application. What happens next?
A: After we receive your application, we can arrange free transportation for the dog to any location. We ask that you schedule a FaceTime call with the dog so you can get to know their true character. Once you’re confident and give us the go-ahead, we require a deposit to hold the dog. After securing the deposit, we’ll proceed with transporting the dog to you. Upon delivery, the remainder of the fee will be due.
Q: Do you adopt dogs out of state?
A: Yes, we do! We talk with our adopters on when the best time to receive the pup is, and we plan their travel accordingly!
Q: I need to re-home my dog. Can you take them into your rescue?
A: We would love to assist you and your pet, but we review each owner surrender on an individual basis. If you're looking to rehome your dog, please send us an email with as much information as possible, including any medical records. We will respond within 48 hours with next steps or recommendations for other rescues to contact.
Q: How much is it to adopt one of your dogs?
A: Our dogs are not for "sale" because we operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue. We ask for an adoption contribution to help cover the expenses associated with their care and veterinary treatment. The adoption fee is $400 for adult dogs, $450 for puppies, and $300 for senior dogs (8 years and older).
