Earnest – The Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold 🐾

Earnest is a 1-year-old Beagle with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. Quietly affectionate and endlessly loyal, Earnest is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a safe place, a kind hand, and ideally, his brother Augustus by his side.

Life hasn’t been easy for these two. Dumped on the side of the road, Earnest and Augustus stuck together through thick and thin, depending on each other to survive. That bond runs deep. Earnest watches over Augustus with a calm, steady presence, and in return, Augustus helps him come out of his shell.

Earnest is gentle with people and good with other dogs. He may take a moment to warm up, but once he does, he’s incredibly devoted. He loves quiet strolls, cozy naps, and being near the ones he trusts.

While Earnest could adapt to a loving home on his own, we would love to see him and Augustus adopted together. Their bond is beautiful, and they bring out the best in each other.
