Meet Winter!

Winter is a beautiful 1 1/2-year-old girl with a gentle and loving heart. Her story began on a heartbreaking note when she was found in a fiberglass barn in the middle of winter with her 7 puppies. She was malnourished, scared, and doing everything she could to keep her babies safe.

Winter came to Joey's Friends, where she finally had a warm, safe place to rest, get healthy, and raise her puppies. For 8 whole weeks, Winter was the most devoted mama, taking wonderful care of all 7 of her beautiful babies and making sure they were safe and loved.

Now that her puppies are growing up, Winter is finally learning that it's her turn to be cared for. She is a timid girl at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine. She is gentle, sweet, and deserves a family who will give her the patience and reassurance she needs to come out of her shell.

Winter has spent her life putting her babies first. Now, she deserves a forever home where she can simply be a dog, feel safe, and finally receive all the love she has given to others.
